Melcor AE20/GME-20 Discrete based Mic Pre & Equalizer with Connector for 500 Series Racks
You are bidding on a super rare custom Melcor AE20
Discrete opamp based EQ and mic preamp with connector to mate to a 500 series rack .
These are the same as the GME20 EQ's but with a input transformer and an additional 1731 discrete opamp as well as 3 switches to select the amount of mic pre gain.
The Melcor is the same length but a tad wider at the face plate .
The actual module body is 1.5" same as the 500 series modules . Its a tight fit but they will fit .
You may have to loosen the modules around it to get it in and seated.
The edge connectors can be removed as the modules have the Melcor connectors.
These are great sounding Mic Preamps and EQs The frequencies and specs are the same as the GME 20 EQ's see the Spec sheet in the listing.The schematic is of a GME 20 EQ only , the AE has a input transformer and an additional Melcor 1731 Opamp.
