2nd owner, Killer Ibanez RG1560 Made in Japan with a gorgeous deep blue finish that has to be seen to be fully appreciated.
If you’re looking for an Ibanez that can cover those pure Strat middle & neck single coil tones, this is for you! Bridge pickup is the standard Ibanez humbucker shred.
Beautifully perfect, silky smooth Maple shred-fest neck. Prestige finished frets edges. super straight, no buzzing or dead-spots. NO disappointments here.
Overall zero -0- fret wear – *except* - for the smallest dimples below the G string on the 1st and 2nd frets (very difficult to photograph, but I tried to show each one separately),
Tiny mishap on the body just above the bridge cavity (I got it like this). Please see the photo with the pencil pointing to it. This has NO effect on sound or playability.
The trem is the type where you don’t have to cut off the ball-ends of the strings. The trem is similar to a more traditional fully floating non-Floyd-Rose style. In other words, it's very smooth & responsive feel, not that cumbersome stiff feel. So, if you’re into Jeff Beck, this is right up your alley.
Comes with original pop-in Trem Bar & bushing, and the “Prestige” swiss-army type guitar multi-tool. I have the back plate, with all of the OEM screws too.
Comes with a like-new Ibanez hard shell case, which is not “Prestige” branded (again, the way I got it), but it’s exactly the same in terms of being perfectly form fitted to hold the guitar securely. The case alone is worth $100.*In the interest of full-discloser* I’m selling this guitar because my technique is piss-poor and when I play with reckless abandon, I inadvertently get a slight warble or as some people call it the “cricket” or “flutter” type effect. So, for me, this became a strictly studio recording instrument.
S&H is included, Shipping for Lower 48 CON. US ONLY I'll box it up in the case, open up the top locking pads and tune it down a smidge to lessen tension & lotsa padding. The below info is what I found online:
Limited Reissue of an 80's Classic! Originally introduced in 1988, the RG560 quickly became a favorite among shredders who wanted more of an organic tone than what was offered by humbuckers. Fully featured with a double locking tremolo, gorgeous Jewel Blue finish and a Maple fretboard, the RG1560 brings this classic back to the modern age!

•5 Piece Maple/Walnut Neck
•Super Wizard Prestige Neck Profile
•Basswood Body
•Jumbo Frets
•Maple Fingerboard with Black Micro dots
•V8 Humbucker (bridge) and S7 (Middle and Neck) pickups
•Edge Pro Tremolo1997 and after (CE logo designation)
