Parts Banjo using prewar rim 9546-44. Huber HR-30 ring. Rim was a 2 with the 22 pilot holes under the flange. Rim has been refinished and this is a fake sticker. Huber fitted the ring, but it had another ring before and there is a gap between the ring and the rim near the tailpiece. Plenty of scuffing here and there but do major dings. The neck is curly maple. The inlays were done at Custom Pearl Inlay by Keif Sloate. They are clean. Cox resonator and Sullivan hardware and Keith Tuners. They were al custom plated. Most important is the sound. This banjo vibrates in your hand and thumps your chest. On You Tube is a video titled Huber playing 9546-44. This is a cell phone recording and with the head freshly adjusted by Steve. It is much better now. It comes with a Kasura case which is beat on the outside, but solid. I'd sell just the pot if no one wants the abalone inlays.
