Its finish, called Tascam Orange, is a tribute to the orange glow that radiated from the screens of so many Tascam recording devices from years past, a hallmark of the digital recording era. In essence, outside of its color, this guitar is no different from the exceptional sound, playability, and build quality that has so deeply rooted the Gibson name in music history. It even features PAF-style Burstbucker pickups that help to more fully embody the exceptional tonal history of the model. In addition to the pickups, it still possesses a comfortable and familiar neck shape, the inherent resonance of a well-built semi-hollow body, classic cut and shape, as well as the aesthetic nuances that help to keep its identity so well defined. This guitar was originally released with a Tascam US-2x2 interface, TH-02 headphones, TM-80 Condenser microphone and SONAR’s Cakewalk, a full-capacity recording software, and this used version is no different – it still includes all the original additions and original hardshell case. If all that wasn’t enough, the guitar itself is still in exceptionally good shape for a used guitar and shows very few signs of wear. It will also ship with a full professional in-house setup so it plays beautifully for its next owner as soon as it is tuned to pitch. `Cosmetic Condition: This guitar is in near mint condition overall, if not better. It shows only a few light surface scratches here and there but otherwise looks nearly unplayed and even still has the original plastic on the pickguard. The frets are nearly untouched as well and still have a full lifetime of playing left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions perfectly. All electronics have been fully tested and function perfectly as well. Body: Double-cutaway semi-hollow body with maple/poplar/maple laminate construction (w/ maple center block) in Limited Edition Tascam Orange finish. Cream top and back binding. Chrome ABR-1 bridge with titanium saddles and chrome stopbar tailpiece. 4-ply raised and textured pickguard. Black top hat control knobs with silver indicators. Unbound F-holes.
