Hand made in Malaysia designed in the USA. Made from very high quality parts with craftsmanship that is hard to beat. I asked Nik at Ceriatone if he would help me to bring my dream to life. A lunchbox that's a classic.  I started with the jtm45 and removed every part not necessary to making it work. The two volumes are internally jumpered. There is a dual gang pot so it's like jumpering the channels and turning up two volumes. On the back is a "split/shared" cathode switch for the first tube. Allowing you to go from jtm45 to Jmp50 territory with the flip of a switch. I replaced the mid pot with an internal resistor.  This allowed me to make the amp compact. Yet have the entire Plexi circuit. I removed inputs, removed knobs, and switches.  I rebuilt a lot of amps over the years. As much as I love the old amps, sometimes getting them to work right takes a professional.  So I simplified the circuit, allowing me to focus on parts selection and improving reliability, while adding an ohm selector and bias test points. Playing the Plexi22 through a 2x10 with greenbacks, is about as close as you can get to a Plexi on 11 without pissing everybody off. It's actually very useable and smooth. It's a cross of the 67-68-69 Plexi circuits.  It's a portable, well built, hi quality, simple amplifier. Just the right size for gigs. And very easy to work on.
