12 Left Handed EVH Wolfgang USA model. This is the one. This isn't the Wolfgang Special that's made overseas. This is a USA model guitar in a US G&G case. Luckily, you won't have to pay the $3-4k price for a factory fresh one! It has EVH Wolfgang pickups that are drilled directly into the wood for more wood tone (the same mod Eddie did to his frankenstrat). These pickups are HOT, but still very articulate. I've been spending a year wondering where the hell all the harmonics in this guitar are coming from. Such a beautiful tone. Every time you strike a chord it's a massive treat and a ton of fun. The neck on this guitar has a natural feel that takes the shape of your hand very well. It's devoid of any finish and It's actually slightly asymmetrical so it fills your palm, but your fingers still reach the strings easy. You can get the action however you want on this guitar, but there is a tiny buzz on the high E on the 9th or so fret. Can be knocked down with a fine fret file and be fine, but it never bothered me enough to do. I didn't notice it for a few months! The Birdseye maple pattern on the neck is incredible as well. This guitar will surprise you everyday. It's easy to play, it's compact because of the way it was designed, it feels unbelievably solid, and sounds amazing. I hate to let it go, but I caught the blues bug and I need a slide guitar. This is Floyd rose guitar number 3 for me so it doesn't make sense to let it sit. As far as defects goes, It has an indented line on the top where I got carried away with the whammy bar (trust me you will too) and a little buckle rash on the back, but mostly on the plastic trem cover. This isn't a flawless guitar, but it's close. Whoever owns it for a long time is going to beat the hell out of it because it's a blast to play. Guitar will come with whammy bar, adjustment Allen wrenches, inspection tag, owner's manual, and G&G case fitted for the guitar.
