PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE LISTING, START TO FINISH, BEFORE YOU BID ON THIS GUITAR!!!OH BOY...Here it is...a 99% original 1957 Gibson Les Paul Junior...one of the good ones! The good news? Brazilian Rosewood fretboard~1 & 9/16" nut width~original nut-original tuners-original truss rod cover and screws~original strap buttons and screws~original bridge~original pots~original jack~original pickup~original frets~original knobs~original pickguard and screws~LOOKS GREAT! PLAYS GREAT! SOUNDS GREAT!The bad news? At some point, this guitar's body and neck (But not the face of the headstock, or the fretboard) have been varnished with what appears to be polyurethane...but it was a LONG time ago...the serial number was removed at that time, but whoever did it put the serial number on the back of the truss rod cover (7- 0506)...this guitar has some serious MOJO, and a great VINTAGE VIBE...it gets lots of "OOHS" and "AHHS" every time it gets taken out in public...if it were 100% original, it could bring $4000-$6000...but you couldn't gig with it! Here's a great vintage guitar that you can gig with...clean, quiet pots, tuners that work well (although the plastic buttons have been replaced at some point), and a serviceable (for storage) non-original soft case...I'm selling this for a friend who needs to pay some bills, and if it doesn't sell the first time around, I may buy it myself...shipping (with insurance) should be around $60-$80,continental USA only, REGARDLESS of what ebay might quote you...and I WILL NOT ship this without insurance for  the full selling price...if you win it, PLEASE DO NOT PAY ANY INVOICE WITHOUT SHIPPING INCLUDED...I'll pack it up and take it to the Post Office, and get you a proper quote, insurance and shipping included, then send you an invoice...thanks for looking, more pix available on request, please see my other listings for more cool guitars and interesting items!

On Mar-27-17 at 08:24:45 PDT, seller added the following information:THIS GUITAR HAS THE RARER 22 3/4" short scale, NOT the more common 24 3/4" scale...it is easier to chord and bend strings, with it's lower string tension...sorry for any confusion...
