Description This listing is for a seriously cool Gibson ES 335 from the early 1970's featuring the traditional Gibson cherry finish. The guitar is in superb condition as you will note in the photos. There has been an exceptionally neat conversion from the standard trapeze to a stop tailpiece. If extra shots are required for consideration email the specifics to us, we will get to it for you. If Gibson semi's are your up your alley, this is one right off the top shelf. Got all the cool 335 appointments (except the aforementioned trapeze) along with the classic cherry finish and a couple of sweet humbuckers. Has been re-fretted with wider frets along its journey which may warrant a fret dress depending on the new owners taste and/or preferences. This guitar has a volute, a "Made In USA" impression on the back of the headstock and a serial number in the 900,000's so safe to say it is an early 1970's, 1972 at the very latest.Set up by our crew here at DMS and playing like a dream....currently wearing 10-46 gauge but we will be happy to restring with the new owners choice of gauge and set up to requirements.
