Selling this one really breaks my heart: I have to let go of some of my beloved guitars. Among those is the beautiful and incomparable: KOLL Doubleneck Tornado „Tornipulator“ This amazing tonemonster was built for me in 2009 by the master himself, Saul Koll. After finishing that monster he said that „this one almost killed“ him. Well fortunately it didn’t. With this guitar I tried to incorporate all the ideas I had about a doubleneck: a fretted neck with P90s and Brazilian Rosewood neck, a fretless neck with a Sustainiac and assorted craziness inspired by master visionary David Torn. The guitar has two mics and an aux in for feeding one mic. Both mics have solo/mix switches (Mic 2 has a temporary switch only) and on/off switches. Mic 1 has a volume control (the black knob). There are also two kill switches. There are tone and volume knobs for both necks, the fretless neck also has a knob to control the „Harmonic Gain“ of the Sustainiac. There’s a neck pickup boost fort he fretless and a 3-way selector fort he necks (fretless/both/fretted). The body is made of Korina (limba). Yes, this one has a lot to offer – it sounds awesome and is a pleasure to play. It weighs about 11.9 lbs. The guitar comes with a gig bag – I also have a case but this thing is so heavy! But if you insist on the case I’ll send it in it but shipping will be more expensive! The guitar cost $ 6,000 by the way.
