1979 GIBSON SG The 'SG' forerunner of the SG 'Firebrand' was only made for 1year.The Walnut Body and Ebony fret board makes for one HEAVY sounding 'SG'.This guitar belongs in a collection but could be an every day player as well, IT SCREEMS.The Neck is perfectly straight and has no dead spots. The Frets are clean w/only two minor grooves on the G & B string at the 2ND/3RD Fret.This guitar sat in its case, like it is doing right now, for decades and has rarely been played in the last 20 years.I want it to find a good home with someone who will appreciate it for what it is...a 38 year old GIBSON WARRIOR. Run this guitar through a real TUBE AMP and a TS-9 TUBE SCREEMER FOOT PEDAL for a HEAVY sound your neighbors will hate you for or run it through a clean channel, its CLARITY is BEAUTIFUL, and have birds sit on your shoulder to listen to it.SHIPPING IS TO BE PAID BY BUYER and it must be insured for purchase price of guitar and signature must be required.
