2004/6 Fender Japan Aerodyne Stratocaster Gunmetal Blue & New Hard CaseJAPANESE IMPORTStunning Gunmetal Blue metallic finish, unavailable in the UK. Matched headstock & bound body. The Aerodyne Stratocaster has been around for a few years. They are produced with 2 different scale lengths which are 24.75 (same as a Gibson) & 25.5" which is the same as a standard Stratocaster. This guitar is the 25.5" version. The main feature is the bound body & the colour matched headstock. Aerodyne Stratocasters are sometimes available in the UK but generally only in black. I seem to be the only person importing these coloured Aerodynes in the UK at the moment. Hefty shipping & import charges mean that I can't do this as much as I would like but it is still really nice to feature some guitars on my site that you don't see as often in the UK. This particular example is in very good condition overall with excellent frets & straight neck with no issues. There are some light scratches on the pickguard & some of the screws & hardwear have dulled over the years. There are also a few nicks and scratches around the edges of the guitar but overall condition is really nice. The price on this guitar is a little lower than other Aerodynes I have sold, this reflects the age & use. Looks and plays really wellHard CaseAs said many times, all my guitars come shipped in a new black hard case which is included in the price. I find this is the safest way to avoid damage in transit. This case can be upgraded to a very nice tweed one but these are an additional £12 each at present. Please contact me before purchasing if you would like this. Alternatively, if you are collecting the guitar and, like some buyers have cases coming out of their ears, that's no problem, I'll adjust the price (usually around a £30 discount) and I can usually find you an old gigbag to take the guitar away in. The only hard and fast rule I have is that I won't ship a guitar in a gigbagFender Aerodyne StratocasterSpecifications:Series: AerodyneColour : Chrome Gun Metal BlueBody Shape: Stratocaster®Body Material: BasswoodBody Finish: Gloss PolyesterNeck Finish: Satin PolyesterFingerboard: RosewoodScale Length: 25.5"String Nut: Synthetic Bone, 40 mm)Pickups: Fender Japan Single CoilPickup Switching: 5-Position Blade: Position 1.
