This is a vintage Steinway made in New York built in 1948. It has been rebuilt with new pinblock, strings, pins, damper felt, hammers and shanks. The case was refinished and the plate has been re-gilded. It has been regulated and voiced to Steinway specifications. The color is ebony satin and comes with piano bench.If you have limited space and want a Steinway grand, this is the smallest size they manufacture. The current price for a new Model S Steinway is $57,800. Many people prefer older Steinways made when Steinway was still owned by the Steinway family instead of a hedge fund company like today.
