From my personal collection.... 1961 (PAF patent number sticker pickup) nickel original cover ...you want a woody PAF tone with original harness at a great price...here it is...the best of the best...all original....lots of value in parts here! Beautiful condition.....unmolested…original solder…all original parts....this is the earliest patent number PAF pickup I have found. It is factory attached to its original 1961 harness.....the only change ever made was the bridge PAF was removed at the volume pot....but you have plenty of wire to attach your own PAF in the bridge position......you do not have to open any of the dust cans.....there is about 1.5 inches of wire you can work with to attach your bridge pickup. You receive all the parts shown which are all original to this harness...switch parts....M69 ring and original screws/springs....nuts and pointers....unopened cans!!!!Nickel cover has not been removed…ever…..guaranteed to have black double lead wires and correct PAF features.Original cover has the correct corner geometry we have come to know and love.
Other features:I guarantee the following features are present when you remove the cover: "circle in a square" marking in the bobbin, double black bobbins, and correct bobbin wire color."L" tool markings present on feetnickel pole pieces (original to this pickup)original M69 neck ring (arched) and original screws and springs1960's 2.35 inch alnico magnetsticker is intact7.3 k ohms reading from the neck pickuporiginal M69 ring and partsoriginal switch partsoriginal nuts and points on the potsBest of the best...none finer....Juicy PAF tone from my personal collectionThis is a neck pickup and harness from a Barney Kessel Regular..I removed it myself from a BK that had an undesirable neck ski-jump....I kept the pickups and harness for a shell that has never come along....I am liquidating much of my personal stock...see my other items too! This is a "narrow spaced" PAF - commonly found in the neck position of the high end jazz guitars. But they are completely at home in a Les Paul or other Gibson solid body, and in fact, the strings line up on the pole pieces even better than with a "standard”- spaced pickup. (On a neck-spaced pickup, the overall width is the same as a standard "Les Paul" PAF, but the poles are spaced 1/8th of an inch closer together for the most accurate string alignment. It can be used in any of the Gibson guitars. You can't fake this pickup because of the spacing! )Complete virginal harness!!!!!...fantastic relic appeal / patina on the nickel cover.Patent number Sticker is all intact showing normal age related patina.Testing at 7.3 K ohms on my craftsman multi-tester.Comes with original neck ring (arched type) and original height screws and springs. Springs show the commonly found “white crust’ that marks them as vintage correct. This one is for the most serious player / collector!....A super clean harness and pickup in fantastic condition! shipping with insurance to usa via UPS 55.00 (most of the cost is for insurnace to protect both of us!)International shipping may be possible....please contact
