Fender Coronado II 1967 Antigua 6 String Vintage
Estimated price for orientation: 1 700 $
Category: Electric Guitars
Class:
Description Brand: Fender String Configuration: 6 String Model: Coronado II Model Year: 1967 Body Type: Hollow Country/Region of Manufacture: United States Dexterity: Right-Handed
The lower cutaway has lost some of the lacquer in a very small spot. Stays in tune well, even with use of the vibrato. The dearmond's are hot and sound fantastic. Plays very well all throughout the neck, the action is nice and low. There is a input jack plate that is not original. It must have been done long ago due to the aging of it. I had put a wood grain vinyl on the tremolo tailpiece. It really matches the guitar really great but it can be removed very easily to the stock black that is below it. I can remove it for you if you would like. Freshly restrung.
I've only had to replace the pickup switch but the original is included in the case. A previous owner must have also added the string tree behind the nut, the person I got it from knew nothing about it. The frets are fairly low so it will need a refret in the next few years depending on how much it's played. There aren't any dead spots or atypical buzzes so it still plays very well up and down the neck. Comes with a fancy, non-original brown gator case.
Feel free to ask any questions. Thanks for looking!
