Antique French Violin labeled:"Antonius Stradiuarius Cremonenfis Faciebat Anno 1716"This is a very nice Mirecourt Shop violin made around 1900 on the Stradivarius pattern. Very warm and dark, velvety tone. Original rich reddish brown varnish as was the tradition of the French shops during this time period, in a nice vintage condtion with a few signs of wear over 100+ years. This instrument is in very good condition, ready to play.Professionally set up to play well with Thomastik Dominant strings and Goldbrokat E. It's had one very small (about a half inch long) hairline below the treble side F hole that was repaired and is very hard to see. I will pack it well and ship it quickly with its case included, so bid with confidence. Please see pics for part of the description and feel free to ask any questions.
