AKG C414 Comb Nr 1049 with Brass ring capsule. About 1971.
This microphone was originally from the old Linguaphone recording studios in Cromwell road, where I first used it.
It comes with the original Cannon XLR and (Belkin like) braided Mic cable.
I've cleaned the connectors, cut back the cable 4inches and remade the cable joints.
The mic sounds good and clean again.
At the end of the day, I want a Schoeps V4u microphone for my studio so I'm selling (or swap) this classic.
Please note: The little dent near the Thumb wheel (It was there when I first used this mic.) and some bubbling of the silver finish that you may of may-not see in the photos.
