vintage 1962 Gibson PAF pat number pickup 7.6 kohms for Les Paul es 335 Explorer

This is a Gibson 1962 PAF pickup in beautiful condition....original wire....original tape....unmolested pickup. There is but a trace of where the sticker was. I am liquidating some of my personal collection.Features:From my personal collection....this is a PAF (or Patent Number?) pickup. Removed by me from a 1962 harness which came from my Barney Kessel Regular. The sticker is missing....could have been PAF or Patent Number sticker....in either event the pickup is "PAF" in construction with double black lead wires, "L" marks on the feet, correct tape, correct bobbin wire indicating early 60s. The tone is unmistakable. I removed the cover myself and removed the pickup form the harness...it is authentic and unmolested. Anyone who has bought pickups from me knows I only have the best, usually pickups that came from archtops. Since this was a bridge pickup from a BK archtop, you may find that the pickup will be out of phase with your other pickup. That situation is easily reversed by a qualified technician. It is a personal choice...some people want the out of phase tone when the switch is in the middle position, and some people don't.Note the close up pics of the bobbin wire....purplish color is a fifties telltale sign. This is a nice pickup!!The overall width is the same as a standard "Les Paul" PAF.....this is NOT a narrow spaced pickup....it is a standard full size pickup. It was in the bridge position on my BK but depending on the reading of the bridge pickup you will mate it with, it could be used successfully as a neck pickup.The original 2 conductor lead wire is about 8 inches in length. It has some solder on it in around the middle, where a ground wire was attached. Testing at 7.6 K ohms on my craftsman multi-tester.....A very healthy pickup reading! The included cover is a Gibson Custom Shop used nickel cover that is a perfect fit.There is just no finer rock or jazz tone than you get with an original PAF. This one is for the most serious player, or collector doing an accurate restoration....A super clean nice pickup, with a "whisper" of the sticker remaining.shipping with insurance to usa via UPS 15.00 (most of the cost is for insurnace to protect both of us!)International shipping may be possible....please contact
