Up for auction is a stunning 1993 Gibson Les Paul Classic Plus Yamano with Certificate and original hard case - a very rare opportunity in the UK... These early Classics like this one do not have the horrible green inlays like the later Classics had - see pictures 1, 5 & 7 in particular The Les Paul Classics from 1990 to mid 1993 (noted as having 'Les Paul Model' on the head-stock, not 'Les Paul Classic') were built in what became the Gibson Custom Shop. These Classics are renowned as great guitars and there is plenty written on the usual forums about their great build quality. The beautiful Honeyburst top has a very 'vintage' look to it when you have it in your hands, simply stunning... Could easily be on a '59 re-issue it's that nice... Yamano are a Japanese Music Store who up until 2007 had a deal with Gibson to hand pick the best looking and playing guitars for their Tokyo store. This comes with the serial numbered Yamano Certificate, stickered poly pouch and Yamano Store 'Hang Tag' Serial number is 3 0737 and date stamped in the pick-up cavity Feb 11 1993 and 'CLASSIC PLUS' The guitar has been owned by me since 1998 and is 100% original Always kept well maintained and professionally set-up with great playability and intonation No damage, repairs or issues whatsoever and overall in excellent condition with very minor signs of play - fantastic for 24 years old The original case is in great condition inside & out and has the pink shroud as shown Mahogany body & neck Stunning flamed Maple Top finished in a beautiful Honeyburst Rosewood fingerboard 24.75" scale length Slim 60s profile neck Nickel hardware 2 x Volume & 2 x Tone 3 Way pickup toggle selector Gibson 500T & 496R pick-ups Original fully fitted Gibson hard case with pink shroud Weight is over 10lbs Other than the starting price there is NO RESERVE!!!
