Nicely done 5-string conversion neck by me ~ 2 years ago, 2nd of 4 of these conversions I've done recently. 5th in the works. (20 year luthier, see work on Youtube channel: youtube.com/watch?v=JWhz0E1MeIo and playing one : youtube.com/watch?v=z7krIiib1TQ ).Just stopped by The Olde Towne Pickin' Parlour in Arvada to consign and decided to try here instead. Got to compare to a nice Stelling, Ome, Ramsey, Huber and a few Gibsons in their store. ~ $2-3 K instruments. You can see them on their website, but it was nice to get a handle on the pricing and quality. Really loved the Ome and Stelling, as well as the Ramsey. After playing those, I was a little concerned the Weymann wasn't quite up to the caliber of those, but I was mistaken. She absolutely holds her own against the finest. Plus a huge MOJO factor !Ivroid knob 5-star tuners, gently touched up varnish on resonator, laquer neck. Spikes 7 & 9. Nicely hand fit firm case. Ebony flat board with two-way hot-rod. New Ome renaissance head and 11/16' Ome bridge (I love that shop. Chuck's great !). No resonator flange or tenor neck. Original, modified for 5-strings, tailpiece. I also have a 20's maple style 2 conversion as well which I am going to keep, (less fancy neck wood and inlay), but would consider selling rather than this one.  Both sound pretty much identical. (Really don't need two).Respond and let's talk !Dave Griffin Cheers, and keep on pickin' !
