The Telecaster is in excellent condition and works properly. I purchased it brand new in 2014, and it remained in it's Fender Deluxe Gigbag 99% of the time. Never gigged. So it's practically new, but of course it has the 1st gen more authentic relic'd finish, and looks great. Details:
It is the 2-tone sunburst with nitro-cellulose finish. Beautifully joined 3 piece alder body. Awesome neck with great feeling, smooth playing satin finish, with 7.25" radius and medium-jumbo frets, and it's back profile is thicker than the Modern C, but slightly thinner than the Nocaster. Very tight neck-to-body joint. It's a light guitar at 6.6lbs. Lots of resonance unplugged. The stock pickups are Tex Mex, which are slightly less hot versions of the Texas Specials. Beautifully deep & shimmery clean sound; nice & raw with overdrive. Not Low-E or High-E heavy like a lot of Teles, plus the guitar was setup for a clean balanced sound with the pickups slightly lower and even across the bass, mids, & treble. Action: 5/64 at Low-E, and gradually down to 4/64 at High-E. Truss Rod Neck Relief: .012". It has old D'addario 9.5s EXL120+, and I'll provide 2 new sets. I've played $3000 CS Teles & real 1950s Teles, & this one compares in all aspects. Payment and Shipping Details:
