DSI Tempest for sale. I recently updated with the latest OS and got half way through the sound packs before maxing out the memory. I've owned it for around four years, and it's been stored for the last two.
Reason for sale: i'm not enough of a synthesist to really get the sounds i'd like, and time proved i never had the time or patience to really get stuck into it. So for me, it's just a one trick pony: an expensive techno groovebox. Distortion and compression cranked up for some dirty stomp action.
In great shape, except for the little scuff on the decal - shown in photo (photo not that great).
I have the manual, psu, box etc, although my friend is sending me the manual and dragging his feet a little, so if I don't have it by end of auction, i'll send it on after. But the newer OS outdates the manual, so getting started would be best served with a copy from the DSI site.
I've been meaning to get this listed for some time, but put it off due to time etc, manual not here - and tonight, enough was enough, so excuse the shabby phone photos. If you're after better pics, i'll see what i can do for you. Collection possible from Milton Keynes. Happy bidding
