The finest example of a 60-year old Gibson ES-225T that we've come across... a 9.75 on the '10' scale... exceptionally fine condition.   Original owner didn't ever learn how to play, so he literally put the guitar up for 50-years.  Then, about 10-years ago the son-in-law took possession of the guitar and played it a little bit, but only used flat wound strings. So, there's almost no fret wear, and the neck is straight. The tuner buttons were crumbling, so he had a new set of plastic buttons installed on the original tuner shafts.  Note the last picture that shows the bottom side of the headstock where it shows a slight marring of the finish, perhaps from a string winder being used on the 2nd and 3rd string tuners.  There is also some very, very light finish checking on the body that is even harder to distinguish.
There are no structural issues with this guitar, no cracks or repairs or issues of any kind.  It is just as it came from the Gibson factory over 60-years ago.   This fine vintage guitar comes in a brand new gig bag.  The original brown hardshell case that this guitar came in is now listed separately on eBay.  Thanks for your interest.

We offer a 48-hour approval period with money back guarantee, except shipping costs, so feel free to bid with confidence.
Choose 'Buy It Now' before someone bids the minimum and we pay all  shipping and insurance costs in the continental U.S., and half the mailing costs overseas.   Buyers in Australia must pay $395 to receive this guitar through Fed-Ex, because the post office won't accept this large of a package through normal priority mail.  We can't unbolt the neck as with a Fender electric.  But, again, we'll pay half those shipping costs if an Aussie chooses 'Buy It Now'.  Thanks for your interest.
