This Classical guitar was hand built by Spanish luthier Manuel Raimundo in 1978.It has been signed by him on completion on the inside label.His son now runs this company and it still makes hand built Classical guitars out Valencia Spain.The build quality is extremely high.The back - sides - neck and head are all solid Rosewood - The bridge is also Rosewood.The neck has an ebony reinforcement strip.The fret board is ebony.I am trying to find out what the top is - it is the same colour as the other surfaces but may be a different wood. Could be Spruce or Brazilian Rosewood. Will update when I find out.The tuning pegs are gold and extremely high quality and never slip.It has some small marks and two small surface cracks on opposing sides - Please see picturesBoth cracks are just surface so do not effect the sound so have never concerned me.A luthier could correct this no problem as all the original wood is still in position around the cracks.I have seen these guitars go for over £1000 on here and more from registered dealers.Spanish guitars .
