Here is I believe a 2002 vintage AES 1500. It has a 1500b serial tag and I do have a Bixby for it but I took it off when I changed over to a non vibrato configuration . I bought a new bridge for it about 2years ago as well and had the guitar set up by a pro at that time. Ive never really been into Bixbys but have had some gretschs that came with them. I don't play that type of music generally. This set up is better for a bit more contemporary tone as the strings have a longer length which has more complex overtones (jangly) which I like. I have only played it at home and have owned it about three years . I have decided to move it on as I don't play it that much. It is a very versatile instrument . The pots are push push to single coil so it has a number of tone selections. There are many reviews and info sheets on this guitar and those that know about them have very positive feedback. Please email with ques. Thanks I do have the old Bixby for it and the old bridge which is a roller type . I guess it worked fine but as I said I didn't want that tailpiece type. I am not selling the Bixby parts with the guitar so if you would rather have that Tailpiece type I will be glad to put the Bixby/roller items back on and keep the existing tailpiece and bridge. Just let me know what you need .
