The brand "KenSmith" can not be avoided in talking about the history of multi-string bases, receiving great support among many high-end brands. Here, the compact body shape compared to KenSmith's representative model CR, FUSION and BSR realizes a stunning body balance at the time of the chorus.
KenSmith The high-quality design that has been in production since its founding has been loved by prominent bassists such as Anthony Jackson. The body is made up of seven woods in total, with maple on the center material, top and back of the body wing sandwiched the core mahogany with race wood with a characteristic eye weapons.
Combination of ebony fingerboard with 24 frets for 3 piece maple neck.
It consists of high-quality wood material, and in addition to the beauty of appearance, high durability, excellent tone is pulled out.
Smooth tacky sound clutter is added to the sound character which masks high frequency range which is moderately wasteful, low frequency range with tightness is moderately applied, you can feel the ease of handling and the pleasure of playing. The pickup is equipped with the original humbucking pickup.
Combined with the bolt-on structure, the spreading of the sound is felt, but the response is fast, compared to the individual of the through neck, the impression that the sound comes out before is felt. The preamplifier has an original preamplifier driven by 9V.
The control consists of a master volume, a pickup balancer, a 2 band equalizer, a volume pot push / pull, active / passive switching.
A basic control configuration of active type has sophisticated ease of handling. In the state, the use feeling is seen corresponding to the age, although there is a torque feeling in the truss rod adjustment, in the present condition it is good performance made.
