CHINESE CYMBAL 31" w/CUSTOM CASE...Originally owned by Henry Adler & Billy GladstoneAuthentic, original CHINESE CYMBAL 31" diameter w/Custom made Case...Obtained from Henry Adler (drum instruction book author, teacher, and drum shop owner in NYC) who had this Cymbal on display in the window of his Drum Store in NYC for years...Adler himself obtained the Cymbal from Billy Gladstone (Drum instruction book author, developed the "Gladstone Technique" of finger control of the sticks, and theater drummer)...I purchased this Cymbal from H. Adler in the early 1960's after much persuasion on my part that I would care for it as Adler had for so many years. The provenance of this authentic Chinese Cymbal is fantastic! Henry Adler knew of only one other of its size that was located at that time on the west coast of the U.S. Cymbal has the great "pang" sound of the originals and has a "gong" sound when tapped lightly with a mallet. I (as promised to Adler) did not use it with bands but had it on my wall for many years. Now downsizing I am parting with it in the hope it will go to a drummer that appreciates the history associated with this Cymbal and Case...see photosCondition is listed as "Used" but this unique item is like new...it is due to its age that I have listed it as "Used"...Henry Adler only displayed it and it's doubtful Billy Gladstone used it much, if at all.Due to size & weight, shipping costs will have to be determined by buyers location...
