Up for sale is a '80's vintage Made in Japan Takamine model GZ-300 solid body guitar in nice condition overall. The guitar is all original except for one control knob. It has been played so you'll find some evidence of that typical of a guitar of this age. The front of the guitar has some light pick scratches and a few minor dents that don't go through the finish. The back has more significant dings, dents, and some scratches, mainly along the sides and corners, and some belt buckle wear. The headstock has some wear through the finish on the top edges. The back of the neck has a few minor dents and dings you can feel, but don't notice when playing. Please take a look at the pictures ( and there are a lot of them) to best judge condition.
The neck is straight and action is low. Very easy to play. The frets are original and show slight wear on the first 3 frets under the first 3 strings. Nothing that affects play or sound. The truss rod works as it should. All hardware is original and in fine condition with no worn spots or corrosion.
The pick-ups and electronics are original and working well and sounding great.
There are no repairs or broken parts I found on the guitar at all. Weight is 6 3/4 lbs. It is beautiful and ready to play. You will love it!
Included with the guitar is a newer Gator brand cloth covered hard foam case that is clean and in good shape. Guaranteed to be as described.Shipping within the lower 48 states will be $35.
For overseas and other US locations, please inquire before you bid. Even though I only charge to cover the cost of postage, that cost will likely be high if it needs to leave the continental US. Also, any customs or import fees need to be considered too. The customs form will reflect the true auction end price paid.
Please email me with any questions you may have before you bid. I do not end auctions early so please don't ask. -------------------------------------------------------------- Some notes about shipping Guitars overseas: Most countries have some combination of fees, taxes, or customs charges for imported items. The buyer is responsible for these added costs and should check with the postal authorities in their country to determine what charges apply. I do not mark items as "gift" or "sample" so please do not ask. I ship outside of the US via US Postal Service. USPS has package size restrictions that vary from country to country and guitars are too large to be sent to many countries. Australia is one of these (package length + girth cannot exceed 79 inches). Guitars with bolt-on necks can sometimes be sent without cases if the neck is removed and placed in the package beside the body. Set necks guitars cannot be sent at all. Italian customs prohibits importation of musical instruments so I do not send musical items to Italy. Paypal rules are very strict as to package tracking and proofs of delivery. The need for such documentation means requiring US Postal Express Mail service for sending items outside of the US if the item is paid for via Paypal. Also, some countries I just do not ship to, so if you are outside of the continental US, please email me for a shipping quote before you bid. Thank you! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------   Buyer to pay $35 shipping to anywhere in the lower 48 states. Shipping will be more for other locations such as Alaska, Hawaii, PR, and anywhere outside of the US. For buyers outside of the US, shipping must be via USPS Priority or Express Mail because of the need for a tracking number. The item will be well packed and promptly shipped after payment is received. Sale Details: All items are sold on an "as is, as described" basis. I do my best to check our items and list my findings in the item description, but I won't take responsibility for anything I didn't mention out of lack of knowledge of the item. I guarantee everything I say the item is, but I may not know enough about the item to mention everything it isn't. If I make a mistake in the description and an item is not accurately described, then refunds or adjustments are granted on a case by case basis. (Buy with confidence, I will take steps to insure a pleasant transaction) Positive feedback will be reciprocated. Have fun and good luck bidders.
