The guitar pictured is the actual guitar you will receive! At The Farm, we take actual pictures of each instrument and make sure they are fully set-up and ready to play before we ship them. Each instrument goes through a multi-point inspection, followed by a set-up process by our in-house tech staff. We then photograph each instrument with high-quality equipment in our on-site photography studio. We know that details like wood grain and color finishes can vary, so we want you to be able to see, to the best of our ability, exactly what you will be receiving. This process takes over an hour for each instrument - from inspection to pictures. We care about the instrument we put into your hands! Rest assured your guitar was not just plucked off of a shelf and drop-shipped to you from a warehouse without the care that it, and you, deserve.   The Cutlass pays homage to the original Music Man guitars and features updated vintage spec electronics, a super smooth modern tremolo system and lightweight Alder body - all welcome refinements to the Cutlass. Oversized 4 over 2 headstock with straight string pull provide superior tuning stability and flawless craftsmanship throughout make the Cutlass a perfect culmination of old world aesthetics and styling with modern design and playability. This Cutlass SSS electric guitar pairs the Alder body with a Maple neck and RW fretboard. The 5 bolt neck has perfect alignment with no shifting and the sculpted neck joint  and ultra-light satin polyurethane finish allow smooth access to the higher frets. The RW fretboard features 22 hand-applied high profile medium width stainless steels frets.  Additional appointments include 5 way pickup selector, chrome hardware, adjustable truss rod - requiring no component or string removal, Music Man tremolo with vintage bent steel saddles, Schaller M6-IND locking tuners, and parchment pick guard. This Cutlass is loaded with 3 60's inspired Music Man custom wound single coils featuring the wide spectrum Music Man "Silent Circuit", which reduces hum and retains true single coil sound. This guitar was hand-soldered using the lateest technology in the San Luis Obispo factory. Controls include passive 250kohm volume and tone - .047µF tone capacitor; with transparent buffered output for complete tonal consistency at all volume levels. This guitar is required to be listed as seller refurbished by the manufacturer. It has been completely checked over by The Music Farm team, and also by the largest manufacturer refurbishing center in America. Buying one of these guitars is almost like buying a brand new guitar, but getting a huge savings on it! Most of these instruments do not have any visible defects. If there is a visible defect it will be indicated in pictures and in the description. These guitars do not carry the original manufacturer warranty, and in order to prevent invalid warranty claims they are lightly stamped “USED” or “2nd” on the back of the headstock, and the original serial number has been replaced with a new serial number from the refurbishing center.
