Yamaha Recording Custom 18" Bass Drum Super Rare "J" Series With Round Bearings

Here is a very rare one 14 x 18 , still not sure I want to let this go but I do have it in black with matching toms. I can pretty much guarantee you will not find this drum in this condition anywhere. I was trying to build a red hot set but time to move on.
This drum sounds incredible with the Aquarian heads I have on it now Sub Kick 2 and The large hole regulator. It has what I would call a liquid thump..My opinion but it has a deeper sound because of the round 60 degree.
I replaced all the claws and t rods with brand new.
There are very few marks and scuffs on the shell and front hoop, I did touch up the batter hoop and put on a new leather hoop guard, I only touched up one very tiny mark on the shell from where the leg hit it.
It really looks close to new from a few feet away.
This drum is the Ra series built in 1982 before they went to the 45 degree edges, which again in my opinion do not sound as good.
I also have a matching snare that I'll be listing soon.Need any more pictures, just ask I will pack in heavy duty box for safe shipping
