It uses a pair of GE 6550A output tubes and large power and output transformers to put out 100 RMS watts into 8 ohms. There are also 4 RCA 7025 low noise preamp tubes. These are a premium, low noise version of 12AX7 tubes. Also contains 2 RCA 12AT7 tubes. This whole amp is really well constructed with high quality components and a heavy, thick wood cabinet. There are 4 channels inputted to one main channel. There is a spring reverb inside. Works fine. Cosmetics are good. This AIMS amp really nails that early 70's Rolling Stones sound. Crank it up and you're into overdriven classic rock glory. Take it down a few notches and you have your Fender-esque cleans. For bassists who like a slightly overdriven, growling tone, this is the amp you need. It sounds so good I can't do it justice here. This amp has a master volume, which is a nice touch. The spring reverb sounds fantastic. Each channel has controls for volume, treble, bass, and reverb, as well as two 1/4" inputs.
