Professional Uzbek musical instrument Rubab or Rubob handmade.
Rubab (from the Arabic rabab) is a stringed bow instrument of Arab origin.
The Rubab has a wooden convex body (round or oval shape), a leather deck, 4-6 intestinal, silk or metal strings tuned in quarters usually, and resonating strings. The most common are 800-1000 mm long slabs.
The sound is usually extracted by a plectrum.
The Uzbek folk instruments orchestra includes 3 varieties of reconstructed shirts: prima, alto, tenor.
On the shirt perform melodies of solo, and also accompany singing.
Varieties of the shirt under different names are found in different peoples of the east.
In accordance with the location and some features of the device distinguish the Afghan, Dulan, Kashgar, Pamir, and others.
The most popular are the Uzbek Tajik and Afghan Kashgar rubas.
