A rare and beautiful top rate classical guitar by Masaru Kohno, hand made in 1993. The wood is especially beautiful as you can see in the photos. Top quality spruce top, old growth Brazilian rosewood side/back.Excellent condition, impeccable craftsmanship. Signed and dated by the world famous luthier.The tuners are very high quality Gotoh 35310. The neck width is 2" (50-51mm). The frets show negligible signs of use, over a scale of 650mm. The action works great for me, but has room to lower if desired. Comes in a hard case, shipped within a standard heavy cardboard guitar box.Common signs of use found on a 24 year old instrument, but nothing to really distract from it's beauty. There is a small belt scratch near the center of the back, see photos, which seems to only have effected the upper finish and not the wood itself. Beside some other minor dings and light scratches, there does not seem to be anything serious wrong at all. No cracks, repaired areas or separations of any kind. The sound itself is, above all else, very balanced, with a solid bottom end, rich middle range and clear ringing highs. A great world class guitar for recording or concert work.
