So you want to be a rock star? A Country Music Star? You play gigs on a regular basis, and your following is growing? Your fan base is wanting more? Then this might be just the mic for you! It's what many of the BIG STARS USE ALREADY ~ because of the superior sound quality, long lasting AA battery power, and ability to easily be re-calibrated to eliminate conflicts with other wireless mics used on stage. This is an amazing piece of equipment... designed to give musician's the best of both worlds: optimum sound quality, AND total mobility on the stage and even IN THE AUDIENCE (where few dare to travel). Many musicians have drooled over this setup... the Sennheiser ew 300 G3 Cardioid Microphone Wireless System delivers power with easy user control on a backlit, menu driven screen. This wireless mic also ensures that vocals cut through, as well as providing you with a programmable mute button directly on the mic. Add in a backlit graphic display on both the mic and the receiver, and you have an incredible professional quality set up. Both have an intuitive menu navigation, and is positively the professional wireless system most artists only dream of using, much less owning.  Enjoy one-touch programming of the transmitter to the receiver via the wireless sync function, with a multitude of channels and frequencies. The ethernet jack on the receiver allows for remote PC monitoring and control using Sennheiser's Wireless Systems Manager software (which can be downloaded). The ew 300 G3's handheld transmitter is perfect for spontaneous dialogue and interviews. The Sennheiser ew 300 Cardioid Wireless Microphone System includes an EM 300 G3 receiver (with dual antenna (a single or double 1U rack mount kit exist for this unit, which I never got, and isn't included). The SKM 300-835 G3 handheld transmitter (cardioid, dynamic) is crisp, clear, clean, and is powered off 2 standard AA size batteries for longer life (and rechargability). It has Gain control, and a slew of things it can do. Have a manual that will be included. I don't have the original box, but everything is in perfect condition, never dropped or misused. Today, when I took the photos is the second time it was ever powered on, or had batteries in the mic. This Mic was purchased brand new for the production of a television commercial, once that was in the can (or finished, as it were), the mic went back into a box... and sat for the last few months. A few local musicians were asked if they were interested, all said they were lucky to afford $50 wired mics, and though they'd love this... and seen acts they've opened for using these, they didn't believe it was within their budget. This unit functioned perfectly and easily for the approximately 15 minutes it was used (two short takes on a 30 second commercial). I honestly thought I would be using it more, but without a stage (and no singers in the family) I don't see any reason to keep it stored any longer. This set up - mic & receiver - was nearly $1500 new last year, and some music shops still have it listed in the $1500 to 2000 range. As of July 2nd, 300 series is going for about 1200 here on eBay, but a couple on-line shops have it listed in the $1000 to 1300 range... so I've lowered the price to remain competitive and fair.
