Bacon & Day Senorita plectrum banjo, 22 frets, in excellent original condition. Matching serial numbers (34431) on rim and dowel and additional marking indicating built by Bacon Banjo Co., Groton Conn. circa 1935. Plating, finish and pearloid are all in excellent condition. Neck is straight and frets show light wear. The banjo has been updated with a modern 5 Star head and NEW Waverly V-2 tuners for fast and reliable tuning. Otherwise, it still has all of it's original parts, including the scarce period 4 string Grover Presto tailpiece. Comes in it's original gator skin hard shell case with stickers documenting it's early life as someone's main player used throughout the Pacific Northwest. The brass rod tone ring gives this baby some oomph. Collectors will know that a 22 fret plectrum of this model is a rare find. Now looking for the right owner.
