Up for sale is a Barry Porter Mastering EQ custom built by the man himself. It is based on the design of his famous Trident EQs. In doing some research, this EQ was one of two commissioned by UK’s Hilton Grove Mastering in 2001, and may have been among Barry’s last works before he passed away. I am the third owner and have used it to mix a few projects. Cosmetically, there are a few racking marks, but besides that it looks like new. Functionally, the one thing to note is that the two Mid-Band Gain pots have an uneven amount of resistance as you turn them. Halfway up the boost and halfway down the cut, both pots start giving quite a bit of resistance. However, they do turn smoothly without scratchiness and there is no effect on the audio. All the other pots are fine. The unit is being sold AS IS.It will come with its power cord.No international buyers please.Shipping is free to Continental US buyers.Thanks for looking and God bless you.
