Beautiful 1966 Aria UC-2. Made by Matsumoku. These were badged under several different names, including Univox and Princeton. this one is 100% unmolested, completely original. Sunburst over Flame Maple. Body, Hardware and Electronics are something to behold. Neck is perfect with smooth fret edge binding and almost perfect frets.The sound is a little darker than a Jazz Master or Jaguar. As far as quality of build, this is absolutely as good as either of them. (I know, that's a pretty bold statement. I started playing in 1968, collecting in 1975 and have sold over 300 guitars on ebay. I also sell on Reverb.com and Craigslist., where I have sold close to another 100. I have owned 60's strats, teles and mustangs. I absolutely feel the quality of this guitar is at or better than a 1966 Jaguar and leaps and bounds better than any CBS era strat!Has 1 scratch and bump on the back. The scratch you might be able to rub out. It never bothered me. The pickup switch could use some cleaning. It has a loose connection so neck position and bridge position are perfect, using both pickups sometimes gets scratchy because of the loose connection. I would solder it myself, but I don't want to disturb the screws. The pickguard has never been off! Not to be confused with cheaper Tiesco, Norma, etc. This is professional quality. I have gigged with this guitar and everyone freaks over it. Comes with the original case. All latches work, but missing the handle.
