This Gibson Les Paul Goddess in ebony was manufactured in 2006. I purchased the guitar new from Woodwind & Brasswind in 2008, but because I travel a lot it has spent most of its life in storage and I have finally decided to part with it. Overall the guitar is in great shape, but it did arrive in my possession with several minor flaws. There are two flaws in the finish on the upper bout where it contacted the case. Since the Goddess body is slightly smaller than a standard Les Paul, but uses the same case, it shifted during shipping and left the marks you can see in the photos (which were photographed in as unflattering light as possible to show the flaws). I have added padding to the case to hopefully reduce such shifting in the future. There is another finishing flaw from the factory--a small bubble below the neck joint on the back. Finally, the frets were tarnished when I received the guitar and could use some polishing since I never got around to doing it myself. These are the most obvious problems; there are other signs of light use if you look closely and carefully but nothing dramatic like buckle rash or scratches through the finish. The electronics are original and work as designed. The top hat knobs appear to have been mounted slightly crooked but this is hardly noticeable and doesn't affect usability. The original case has a minor ding near one of the latches that can be seen in one of the photos. Otherwise it is in great shape with the lock unset and paperwork included.NOTE: I don't know where eBay came up with the "Detailed item info" displayed above; I didn't write it, and just to be clear: I am NOT offering a "45 Day Lowest Price - 100% Satisfaction Guarantee".
