FOSTEX D2424LV HARD DISK RECORDERI have used this on a few recordings and it did great ... it does a wonderful job as a live recorder in that you can record all 24 tracks at one time . It also has 6 virtual tracks per track so you are able to do a few different takes and pick the best one .It is easy to use and comes with all you need to plug and play ...inputs/outputs etc . The front panel comes off and can be used as a remote ...I will include a few hard drives and power cable ....the hard drives I use can hold 24 hrs+ of 24 track recording For all the gear heads : The Fostex D2424LV digital multi-track recorder is the upgrade from the D2424. This MTR recorder provides the user with the ability to transfer their tracks to the hard drive of their computer with much less stress than its predecessor. The D2424LV has six recording formats, and 24 tracks can be recorded on this device simultaneously, so it's a great tool to use at live venues. An MMC card and FEX is used for recording media and to provide external MIDI control. The editing and composition possibilities are endless with this workstation, and it's ideal for the aspiring music producer or DJ who frequently performs and mixes at live events.
