2013 Gibson Les Paul Special Introduced in 1955 as an intermediate between the cheaper Les Paul Junior and the more expensive Les Paul Standard, the Les Paul Special quickly became the favorite guitar of many of the greats from Bob Marley to John Lennon. This guitar is roadworn in all the right places. It looks and feels like a vintage Les Paul. It has a lightweight slab mahogany body and a 1-piece mahogany neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard and the '60's SlimTaper profile. The 490R neck and 491T ceramic bridge pickups create bright cleans reminiscent of the 1950's in the neck position and aggressive biting lead tones in the bridge. Shows signs of normal use, see pictures but nothing serious and it plays and sounds great. The stock Gibson Deluxe vintage style white button tuning machines were professionally replaced with Grover Rotomatic 18:1 tuners for better tuning stability. Gibson gig bag included.
