Rare 1989 Ibanez Artstar AM300 Crafted in Japan. Lightweight, chambered mahogany body w/set through neck, single F hole, nice aged body & neck binding,,Super 58 Pickups, Sure Grip Knobs, Quick Change II Tail Piece, Smooth Tuners Inc allen key and truss rod wrench & OHSC.Since I have owned the guitar I swapped out the original volume pot for a Metric CTS 250K for a smoother sound, changed the tone cap to .33 to take off a bit of the high end when using the tone pot (original volume pot inc), moved the strap button from the horn to the back for better balance (horn hole was filled and touched up to blend) The body is in great shape no dings or dents, some minor faint scratching and a blemish on the switch knob. I had the frets leveled (per the tech last time that can be done) She plays great but there are some partially dead spots (lack of sustain) mostly noted on the g string which may or may not affect your playing depending on style and sound See Utube video I made of the guitar. Set up with D'Addario 11's! I'll also inc special metal bracket I made to be used if you want to change one of the PU'd and use the original rings! Because the fret issue noted she is priced to sell.
