1970 Elkhart Conn 71 h Bass Trombone w/ 9 1/2 inch bell and .562 bore. (Serial number N 17003)Excellent sound quality from pedal G to high Bb (sorry, but that is my range). A really great orchestra horn. There are no blemishes in the slide plating. Slide operation is perfect as are the tuning slides. F Rotor valve is free, smooth and quiet. Transition Bb/F is smooth. Comes with 2 silver plated mouthpieces ( 1 Remington and 1 Conn 5GR(Remington), and original hard case. I purchased this horn for to playing bass in an orchestra but found after some months that the bore was just too much for my 75 year old lungs. I will consider reasonable offers.
