Early 1960's Stradivarius Bach Cornet from Mount Vernon NY. This is one of the last of the Mount Vernon model cornets which makes it pretty rare. Needs to be re-lacquered unless you like the vintage worn look! Other than that, it plays and sounds like a Stradivarius should! My dad played this when he was in band and passed it on to me when I was in band and has now been sitting in the closet for the past 24 years. Only a few minor dings on this horn. Considering the amount of use it has seen, this horn is in top shape! This should only be for the serious player or someone who wants a top of the line cornet! Comes with hard leather bound case that probably needs to be re-done, but functions perfectly and still has the key to the lock. Includes a 5B and a 10 1/2 C mouthpiece that need a little polishing up as well as a mute and cleaning snake. Don't miss out on this!!! With a little love, this horn will be back to looking as fantastic as it sounds!
