First, let me say that this post is a work in progress. I will be adding and adjusting to it as we go along, but wanted to get this up on the net at least so friends could see it and help me with it. This was my dream set, which I got in July of 1977. Chrome. Mostly used in my private studio, only a few times did we take it out on gigs. It is in mostly excellent condition. It has a few "blems" here and there, but nothing that you wouldn't expect from a 40 year old set.This listing is a work in progress, because there is so much to talk about. For instance, I have the ORIGINAL BOXES for the hardware -- cymbal and tom stands, etc. Have some age/moisture issues to the boxes, but all intact!Also -- I have the original coated Slingerland heads. Very little use. Replaced them (as everyone did) very early in the kit's lifetime with dots, and then pinstripes later. But have the originals, in boxes. I just saw them, and now have to remember where I put them so that I can take pictures!This is really a collector's dream kit.Trap case and cases come with it. Plus a couple of extra cymbal stands.It is chrome. Of course, needs a little polishing and tender loving care. But everything is there! Here's this list;
-- 14x22 Bass drum, w/setomatic double tom holder and telescoping spurs
-- 6 Single head concert toms: 6.5x10, 8x12, 9x13, 10x14, 12x15, 14x16 (w/2 double floor stands)
-- 16x18 double headed floor tom with legs (muffler knob missing at the moment)
-- 6.5x14 chrome snare with rocket snare stand
-- Heavy Duty Hi-Hat stand/pedal
-- 4 Heavy Duty boom cymbal stands
-- 1 non-brand boom stand
-- 1 straight Pearl cymbal stand
-- Slingerland drum seat (one screw missing underneath where mount is)
-- non-Slingerland oversized fiber trapcase
-- non-Slingerland vinyl zippered covers (1 zipper not working, 1 a little tear around handle)Issues of note:
-- one boom cymbal stand "head" needs to be retapped -- stripped out screw hole.
-- (Bass drum pedal not included)
-- Currently missing the front head bass drum lugs. Have them, just can't remember where. Will continue looking.Happy to communicate with you and answer any questions. Will work out shipping anywhere. We just need to know where it is going!
