This is a 2016 Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Historic 1958 R8 Standard. Nine pounds 2 ounces, Gloss top. This is one of the first years with the new headstock markings for an R8. Mahogany body, maple top. Dual custom buckers. ABR-1 bridge. BB caps. Chunky round 58 neck profile. Not tapered. One of the better bargains in an historic. This is a new guitar.
