This is a gorgeous 1976 Black Les Paul Custom that has a deep rich tone , that cannot be duplicated with todays guitar : all original except luthier done newer frets from years ago , very well done and barely any ware . The gold hardware has lots of patina ,and fading ,giving it a real custom shop relic job look , but real play ware ,from years of gentle use , from a touring worldwide rock band . Has some scratches , dents , dings , but all original excepting the newer frets . Thick , deep , tones that go on forever . Weight is about 11 or 12 pounds . Ebony fret board ,with gorgeous ,abalone headstock ,and fret inlays , possibly mother of pearl , but with green , blue , and purple iridescent glows , that later , cheaper Gibson inlays can't come close to this beauty . Fantastic playing ,and looking piece of musical instrument history , from the best Gibson builders in 1976.
