I bought this Trace Elliot TA-200 new from a music store in Atlanta, GA. about 1 year ago. I have used it mainly at home so I wouldn't have to use my PA gear for practice. It really excels in the versatility dept. It fills any room up with whatever acoustic instrument you use whether a guitar, violin, mandolin, etc. Really sounds rich and full and easy to dial in effects and the tone your looking for. It also does vocals like a larger unit. Very clear and warm sounding. More like a mini PA than an acoustic amp. I have been very pleased with it and have gotten plenty of wonderful comments about how it sounds. The reason I am selling is I'm not doing as much solo stuff anymore and I recently bought a couple of Yamaha DXR-12's to use with a Bose T1 mixer I already had, so I don't need it anymore. It's just been sitting here in the case since Christmas when I had it out to do a house concert. Just a side note....I joined eBay in 1999 to try and find the best acoustic guitar amp available. I have had Peavey, Marshall, Roland, Ultra Sound, Fishman, SWR (cal.blonde and strawberry), Crate, AER compact 60, and Rivera Sedona 55 and 100w models. (and a few more I can't remember right now). I would try and buy at a price point so that I could sell it later at close to what I paid and invest in a different one and keep going unill I found what I was looking for. I absolutely love my Rivera Sedona but it is pretty heavy and I needed to have an amp that also does vocals. I ended up buying into Trace Elliot. I have had over a dozen of different sizes and types, TA-35, TA-40 chorus, TA-50, TA-60, TA-100 and TA-100 concert series, TA-200, TA-300, and pretty much came to the conclusion that the Trace Elliot accoustic amps , to my ears, are the best you can get. I liked the TA-300 but it seemed much easier for me to dial in my guitar on the one your looking at here the TA-200. I know I'll miss it but I am turning 60 this year and just have more stuff than I really need. So my loss is your gain. These amps started out at $1249.00 when they first came out. I just googled and found one used at GC marked down to $749.99 from $829.99, HiFiSound has one at $949.99 which is also on eBay at that price. I take pride in my 100% positive feedback on 446 transactions. When I say this amp is in mint condition you can rest assured it is. The footswitch had a small dimple on the edge when I recieved it. It is barely noticeable and works great just like the amp does. Please take a look at my other auctions and read some of my feedback comments. I have been able to keep everyone happy that I have ever did business with and the new owner of this amp will be very pleased. Search out reviews on the web and make sure this is the amp your looking for. If your like me and buy used gear to save money but expect it to be in like new condition, then here it is.
