Here's my Fender Stratocaster up for grabs. It has a Duncan Custom SH-5 humbucker in the bridge, and two original single coils in the middle and neck positions. There is a switch to coil tap the bridge, and the guitar generally has a nice warm robust sound, just how you would imagine a good American Strat to sound, not brittle at all.The bridge is wired to the middle tone, and both the tones are actually TBX controls, so you can roll off the treble or add some treble to all of the pickups. Like I say, it has a nice warm sound, but if you want some added spank then you can dial it in.I think the guitar was made around the 1999/2000 mark, and the condition is practically new, no dings or knocks at all, but the neck is showing some wear - see photos for where the lacquer has been worn by burning fingers. This does not affect playability at all as you can't feel anything, and I think it looks kind of cool as the guitar has obviously had a life.Actually this neck is one of the most playable necks I have played, it feels very played in and is very easy to noodle on. Most Strats I've had have been hard work, but this one plays really nicely.I wouldn't be selling it, as I have got it just how I want it now, but sadly our cat got really ill, and we've got to catch up on vet bills, so it will have to be a sad farewell to this nice guitar. Thanks for looking. PS there is a trem bar, I just didn't get it in the photos.
