Description Brand: Yamaha Body Type: Dreadnought
This is a very hard to find Yamaha. The model is LW-15. It's a traditional dreadnought body.. These were hand made in 1995-6 only.. Definitely of and higher quality than your average Yamaha.. Solid sitka spruce top..really beautiful, scalloped bracing..maple bridge plate.. Indian rosewood fretboard and bridge.. Nicely done inlay.. Sounds gorgeous.. Incredible tone, projection and sustain.. There is a small repaired and cleated crack on the lower top.. Poses no threat to the structure or sound.. Otherwise, there is almost no wear to this guitar.. Frets are great.. Theres info on
the model on the Yamaha website.. **Someone made an offer declaring that there was glue built up around the neck joint.. This is not so. The neck is solid and the joint is as good as new. The finish on this guitar is a satin finish.. The lighter colored lines along the neck joint are where the finish had separated slightly.. I don't think satin finishes are ideal for guitars, but it is what it is and it's an excellent guitar.. Also he pointed out the crack or multiple impact.. As stated it's been repaired and is solid.. The neck joint is completely sound and tight to the body, The neck angle is very good.
