1964 Guild F-20 troubador acoustic parlor guitar F20 - K&K Pure Mini - Hoboken
Estimated price for orientation: 1 899 $
Category: Acoustic Guitars
Class:
Description Brand: Guild Exact Year: 1964 Body Type: Parlor
Fantastic vintage tone from this 1964 Guild F20!These old F20's are every bit as good if not better, IMO as the Martin 0 and 00 guitars of the day. Deceptively loud without sounding boxy.Guild F-20 Troubadour manufactured in the Hoboken factory in 1964. This is the spruce-topped version of the famous Nick Drake model. In very good condition for its age - the only issue of note is an old, professionally repaired crack in the top running from behind the bridge. The pick guard is also slightly warped but I don't think this is uncommon in guitars of this era. Some minor playwear, scuffs and scratching as to be expected, but the frets are good and it has a nice crisp, woody tone and is surprisingly punchy for a small-bodied guitar.Fitted with K&K Pure Mini pickup and comes with a Guild case from a new F-20 which is a perfect fit.Any questions please ask.
