Rupert Neve PORTICO II Channel Strip Mic Pre EQ Compressor — Used, ExcellentThis unit is a great combination of mic preamp, EQ and compressor, as you probably know. It's in excellent shape, having only been used a few times, in my studio only. Note that this preamp is quite flexible, in that you can get anywhere from a very clear and natural sound, to something very rich in overtones and “tube-like-ness”. From very light compression, to over-the-top compression that still sounds very natural (if you want that) in order to control the most unruley of singers! The blue and red button options also turn it into three different preamps, distortion wise. And the EQ is totally world class — transparent yet effective. I'm setting up a Neve 5088 console, so am selling some gear including this great piece to make that happen. Absolutely love all the newer Rupert Neve Portico audio gear. Please ask any questions!
